Join Hobart Akin, Cultural Resources and Exhibits Specialist for TN State Parks for an insightful presentation exploring the birth of our state park system, and the role water plays in harnessing our natural and human resources. This event is offered in conjunction with the Tennessee Waters traveling exhibit at the Kingston Public Library in Kingston, TN. The exhibit will be on display September 1-30. Tennessee Waters: Shaping Our Land, Our Lives, and Our Future is a statewide touring panel exhibit about water’s impact on our lives, our history, and our society. Presented by Humanities Tennessee, the Tennessee Historical Society, and the Albert Gore Research Center.
