Kingston Public Library

Welcome to the Kingston Public Library

Originally set up as a part of the Tennessee Regional Library Service, the Kingston Public Library (KPL) has been an integral part of the community since the 1940’s. The collection was small in size and was moved around town to various locations; however, thanks to courageous and enthusiastic townspeople, a worthy site was provided overlooking Watts Bar Lake.

In 1992, the current facility was opened and Kingston citizens have had good reason to be quite proud of their community learning center. The Kingston Public Library now provides not only books for all ages, but public computers, a spacious children’s area, a teen section, study tables, comfortable club chairs, newspapers and magazines, DVD’s, audio-books, children’s computers, copy and fax services, and access to digital reading material.

Please come by to enjoy the many resources your library has to offer or to just spend a few moments gazing out at the picturesque lake scene. Knowledge is Power at your Library!
